As you work through your apprenticeship and fill in your Portfolio and Project Report templates, tick off each KSB below to track what you've evidenced. Expand each one for a self-reflection question — ask yourself it honestly before ticking, to make sure you've genuinely evidenced that KSB.
Knowledge (K) — what you need to understand: the concepts, principles and frameworks behind the work. You evidence these by explaining them in your own words.
Skills (S) — what you can do: putting that knowledge into practice to produce real work. You evidence these by showing what you actually did.
Behaviours (B) — how you work: the professional habits and attitudes, like working responsibly, independently and with others. The mapped catalog below covers Knowledge and Skill statements only, so you won't see individual Behaviour references appear in the tracker itself — keep evidencing them through your workbooks and reflections as usual.
★ Mandatory — the assessment plan requires this KSB to be assessed in every version of the assessment that is made available. That describes how the assessment is designed, not a choice you or your assessor make. The rest aren't optional: each Assessment Outcome is graded against two sets of criteria — one covering its ★ KSBs and one covering the others — and you need to meet the pass descriptors in both, so the unstarred ones are graded too. Aim to tick off everything below, not just the starred rows.
Worth knowing: a full tracker is necessary but not sufficient. Four outcomes are also graded on a dimension with no KSB attached — information use and decision making (AO3), regulatory and procedural awareness (AO4), communication and collaboration (AO5), and responsibility and autonomy (AO6). Your assessor grades against the outcome criteria as a whole, not KSB by KSB.
